How are y'all? Does it feel like fall where you are? We're still warm here in Texas. This post is another one of my random musings with a little of everything. Some of you tell me this is one of your favorite kinds of posts that I do, so here ya go. I hope I'm not boring the rest of you. :)
I made these baked donuts awhile back...

See how there are two different kinds of sprinkles in each container? Love that! They were buy one, get one free at HEB.
I also made this for breakfast yesterday morning...
That earned me a lot of happy faces. :)
I went into my son's room the other morning to collect all the glasses, plates, etc. he brings in there every night (am I the only one who has kids that eat in their rooms all night long?) And I saw this...
Really? You couldn't find anything smaller to close up that bag with? #boys. At least he closed it up, right?
Now for the spoiler alert:
So I know I teased y'all with my cryptic mention of some "fun deliveries" happening in the kitchen. Well, I'll just spoil the surprise and tell you that we decided at the last minute to get new stainless steel appliances before we get new counter tops. It's been going very slowly though. All four appliances we ordered arrived with dents in them. All four! What in the world?! We ordered them from two different stores too.
Apparently all the stores around here are getting a ton of refused deliveries by customers because of the damaged appliances. At least it wasn't just mine. They're trying to figure out where the damage is occurring, at the warehouse, the store, on the truck, etc. What's weird is that the boxes are in perfect condition, but when you open them up, the appliance itself has dents in it. So frustrating.
After a couple of tries, we finally got the dishwasher and microwave delivered dent free. We're still waiting on the slide in range and fridge. We've had TWO ranges delivered and they BOTH had dents. Ugh. We're supposed to get the third range and second refrigerator delivered some time this week. Wish us luck! What's ridiculous is that we put the appliances on our credit card so we could get the points. We've since gotten the bill and paid it in full. So now we've already paid for four appliances, but are only in possession of two.
At least someone enjoyed all the boxes that came with our appliance deliveries...
This one was especially neat because it had "windows." :)
